Established in 1998, BurySOUND is one of East Anglia’s best-known and longest-running band competitions, endeavouring each year to discover, nurture and promote up and coming musical talent.

My involvement with BurySOUND began in 2016 when I attended the final to take photographs. Loving grassroots music as I do, I now find myself on the judging panel. Every year this competition highlights the depth of young musical talent in the region.

Far more importantly, BurySOUND and it’s host venue, The Hunter Club, provide a platform for young people to express themselves freely.
